Well Met to all who have played Perfect World Rebellion.
It is with a heavy heart that I sit down to write this final news item regarding Perfect World Rebellion. This is the situation as we now stand. We have lost so many players over the past 2 years that we are no longer able to maintain the server hosting rental each month. We managed to negotiate a monthly rental of £100 including VAT. A few players amongst those remaining have been donating each month to help with those costs, however we also find we need to maintain the websites too. With these minor costs we still are struggling and with no new files available to us for updates some older players have moved on to other servers with updates or onto new games. PWR has been a large part of our lives for 15 years now but it is time to turn off the lights and close the doors, so to speak. We just about have enough left in the donations to pay for the rental until the end of April 2024 at which time the server will shut down for the final time. I have made the offer that IF anyone wants to ensure the payment for the server rental (£100 per month) and the cost of the website (£150 per annum) then I will keep the server running as it is now. No one so far has come forward and so we have decided to bring it to an end. I am going to inform the data center, thi Friday 8th March 2024 of our decision and then arrange to make the 400 mile round trip to collect the machine from them and put it into storage. The website will be availble until 25th May at which point we will not be renewing the webhosting. It has been a pleasure to run this server and I will always hold those memories with me. To all who have played, 12133 accouts in total. Thank you for enjoying the game and I hope that you continue to keep in touch somehow with the friends that you have made here over the years and I am certainly going to miss you all and the daily part of my life which this game has become over the past 15 years. Thanks Hermy for all that you have done to make this a fun place to meet. I don't think that many realize how much work you and your GM's did on making new instances for G17 weapons and other instances where S cards did not require many runs in fcc. We had fun and I will miss PWR deeply. I am totally spoiled to play any other pwi game, you gave us true power. Bless you xxxx

I am truly going to miss all the GMs and players, PWR was always the one I came back to. I hate to see it close down, you are the best Hermod. Love ya! Luna
