If you wish to take part in the testing and adjustments needed for the new cave you will need a test client.
Step 1. Make a folder on your desktop and call it PWR Test Machine. Step 2. Go to your current PWR client folder and copy the contents : config, elements, lancher and patcher along with the other files in the main folder and copy all and paste them into your new desk top folder (PWR Test Machine) Step 3. Open the Patcher folder and then the server folder inside. In the "serverlist", change where it currently says 185.251.225.160, to 82.31.196.41 then save and close that file. Step 4. Open the "updateserver" text file and delete everything between the " and the ". leaving it as "" only then save and close that file. Step 5 . Go back to the list of the folders, config, elements, launcher and patcher. Open the folder labeled "elements", inside you will see a file called "currentserver", open that file and again replace 185.251.225.160 with 82.31.196.41, then save and close that file. Step 6. There will be links to updates that will need to be inserted manually into your test client. Instructions will be posted here with the updates.
Please check here for update files BEFORE you try to log onto the test machine when notified it is online.
Testing is expect next week for the basic layout, traps and some mobs and bosses.
Characters will be updated before hand when we next shut the main machine down.
Testers will be expected to give "constructive feed back" not just come on and complain about things so please also be prepared to post comments here so we can fix things before it is released onto the main machine.
