1)After login in make sure you dont have lag and / or server error. 2)Make sure you are on the main map. 3)wait till safety lock is off and dont do check in. (This is the most important part, make sure you dont do check in while on safety lock) 4)Once your safety lock is off try to use the absent notes 5)then do check in. As far as im aware you can only use 4 per month Try running around doing a quest or something that takes a few mins then try again as it seems actually doing something in game makes it work If using on last day of month be especially careful as it needs be used before 5pm server time
