But before all that let me explain what runes are used for! Runes are used to increase attack/magic attack/magic/strength/dQex stats/HP/Crit/accuracy/att Lv/Def Lv/resistance (Mag/Phy)
How to use a rune: If you've been given runes they will probably be max rune in which case the name will be either: - Flawless Sparkle Rune - Phy Attack +142 - Normally used - Flawless Flood Rune - Mag Attack + 142 - Normally used - Flawless Citrine Rune - HP +265 - Not commonly used - Flawless Boulder Rune - Phy Res +289 - Not commonly used - Flawless Amber Rune - Accuracy +238 - Not commonly used - Flawless Domination Rune - Critical Rate +2% - not commonly used - Flawless Guardian Rune - Attack Level +3 - Normally used - Flawless Defence Rune - Defence level +3 - Normally used - Flawless Strength Rune - Strength +17 - Not commonly used - Flawless Spirit Rune - Dexterity +17 - Not commonly used - Flawless Agility Rune - Magic +17 - Not commonly used Note: The most common 2 are at the top most people if you ask them/or get offered runes they will give you one of them 2 How to use them: Click and drag the rune to your weapon slot in your bag Crafting skill: - BH (Bounty Hunter) - only do BH 1 (I) Reward: Divine order Emissary (will double check later) After you have this item you'll need to:
Speak to: - Divine Emissary of Void (location: South Arch - 550 634) - Divine Quest - ONLY TAKE THE BLUE OR PURPLE QUESTS After you've done the quest youll be given:
Purple quest - 2 Divine Honor of the Void Blue Quest - 1 Divine Honor of the Void
Once this is done you'll need to go to speak to: - Divine Emissary of Shadow - Divine Goods - Misc tab - Make 11 (Total) Divine Honor of the Shadows - This will give you Rune Crafting Skill Lv1 - Lv3 (these are the same as Blacksmithing.Tailoring/Apothacery/Crafting crafts - After that thats all you need to make after that youll need to collect: 60 Divine Honor of Voids (A lot i know but worth it)
So now we've gotten past how to get them and how to make the runecrafting lv's les move on to how to level it up. YOU HAVE TO UPGRADE THIS BY MAKING THE RUNES!
How to level the runes: What you'll need before you start - Lv 1 rune crafting - EITHER: Blacksmithing max level OR tailoring max level - Money - Bag space
NPC you'll need to go to to make runes: - Divine Emissary of Light - Craft rune
Note: You will have left overs of chi stones - Sell the chi stones or use them on flyer/genie Note: You will have left overs on shards - Sell them if you have no use for them!
Level 1 Crafting you will need: 50 Wuhsing Stone - Decompose lv 59 weapon/Decompose Lv 50 Armour 40 Common Garnet Shards This should level your first rune crafting to max lv ready to be upgraded to Level 2 Note: this is just to level the rune crafting! Amount of Stacks needed in Garnet Shards: 2 Stacks of Shabby Garnet shards made about 74 Common Garnet Shards - Cost: 1.1 Mil Amount of Decomposing weapons/Armour: 4 pieces - Plenty of left overs!
Level 2 Crafting 60 Liuho Stones - Decomposing Lv69 Weapon/Decomposing Lv 60 Armour 70 Common Garnet Shards This should level your Second rune crafting to max lv ready to be upgraded to Level 3 Note: this is just to level the rune crafting! Amount of Stacks needed in Garnet Shards: 2 Stacks of Shabby Garnet shards made about 74 Common Garnet Shards - Cost: 1.1 Mil Amount of Decomposing weapons/Armour: 4 Pieces - Plenty of left overs!
Level 3 Crafting 70 Chihsing Stones - Decomposing Lv79 Weapon/Decomposing Lv70 Armour 110 Common Garnett Shards This should level your third rune crafting to max lv ready to be upgraded to Level 4 Note: this is just to level the rune crafting! Amount of Stacks needed in Garnet Shards: 4 Stacks of Shabby Garnet shards made about 130 Common Garnet shards - Cost: 2.1 mil Amount of Decomposing weapons/Armour: 4 Pieces - Plenty of left overs
Level 4 Crafting 80 Pakua Stone - Decomposing Lv89 Weapon/Decomposing Lv80 Armour 40 Avarage Garnet Shards | Price: 2.4 Mil This should level your forth rune crafting to max lv ready to be upgraded to Level 5 Note: this is just to level the rune crafting! Note: you dont need to make shards for these you can buy them at the jewcraftmen
Level 5 Crafting 90 Chiukung Stone - Decomposing Lv90 Armour from Grinding in SoT for the Armour drops seems to work you MUST HAVE tailoring for this! OR have someone do it for you! 60 Average Garnet Shards | Price: 3.6 Mil This should level your fith rune crafting to max lv ready to be upgraded to Level 6 Note: this is just to level the rune crafting! Note: you dont need to make shards for these you can buy them at the jewcraftmen
Level 6 Crafting 100 Perfect Stones - Get from Daily 100+ / FCC / Ask if you could have a few 100 if you've got non 80 Avarage Garnet Shards | Price: 4.8 Mil This should level your Sixth rune crafting to max lv ready to be upgraded to Advance Crafting (Final Level) Note: this is just to level the rune crafting! After this you can Craft the highest runes of your choice! Using perfect stones and Beautiful Shards of any kind required!
Adv. Crafting is final step you will have to calculate how Many you want as this is its amx level of rune crafting!
